As part of our AI-powered vision capabilities, our apps may require access to your face in the form of a simple photo. This data is used to provide a beauty analysis based on your facial features. We want to be transparent about how this data is used and handled:
Face Data refers to the images that you provide, which are essential for conducting our makeup and bare-face analysis services. The app collects a photo of your face in PNG format for the purpose of beauty and makeup analysis. The photo is processed using machine learning models to identify beauty attributes and provide personalized product recommendations. We do not store any complex facial data, such as detailed biometric information or other identifying facial features.
We retain Face Data to enable access to your historical scan results, enhancing your experience by allowing you to track changes and compare past analyses.
Face Data is stored for a maximum of one year to allow you sufficient time to review and compare your scan results over an extended period. This duration supports a comprehensive analysis of changes in your skin and makeup preferences over time. Data older than one year is permanently deleted from our systems, unless a longer retention period is mandated by law.
We do not share your Face Data with any third-party entities. The data is processed locally within our app and temporarily stored to generate the analysis results. No third-party service retains or stores Face Data.
All Face Data is handled securely using industry-standard encryption methods during processing. Once the analysis is complete or the data retention period ends (whichever occurs first), all data is deleted from our systems in a manner that ensures it cannot be recovered.
You can revoke your consent for Face Data processing at any time by deleting your account within the app. Upon account deletion, all Face Data and related analysis results will be permanently erased from our systems.
